Success: The Breakthrough Of Failure

Success is something everyone aims for, something which all of us aspire though we may have different concepts of success. The point is it is human nature to look for something better, to make the best even better. But there is also one thing which is universal – we are wary to move out of our comfort zones, to do things unconventionally, and to explore unchartered and little known territories – in short, we are afraid to fail, and to have our pride and self-esteem shattered and broken.

Many success and discoveries have been the results of failures, by accident or by simple determination. You have to learn from your mistakes and move on to become better at what you do. Don’t be afraid of failing once in a while; let it be part of your learning process. But please don’t make failure a habit because just like alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes, it’s one tough habit to break!

The Wright brothers certainly didn’t make it right in their first try. They had to make a little modification here and there every time they failed to make the first man-made flight possible. Did you think our great scientists, artists and explorers did everything perfectly and achieve success on their first try? Of course not! Edison failed over 1000 times before he found the proper way to create a light bulb!

Creating success is a long process – a process which involves losing minor battles but in the end winning the war. Do not fear success; let it be your stepping stone to success. It is an inevitable fact of life that you will encounter setbacks. These may force you to stumble and back up a step, but stand up and move two paces forward.

You can learn great things when you experience failure. This is the time when you know who your real friends are and the value of your family. This is the time when you know the real you and the real essence of success.

Once you’ve accomplished your goals, you may realize the journey wasn’t easy…you had more than your fair share of failures and defeats, but you overcame and triumphed each obstacle because you learned from them and that’s the only way to do it. So take heart and achieve your goals and dreams!
