Creating Success Begins With You

Can you possibly imagine yourself without goals? Not even very short term goals, like presenting that financial statement after lunch? Or maybe submitting that daily accomplishment report at the end of the day?

Without goals, our lives have no direction. It resembles a piece of driftwood floating in the ocean, going where the current goes and where the wind blows. If you live such a life, will you be able to achieve success, even a seemingly insignificant accomplishment? Are you willing to live life this way – simply going with the flow with no clear destination in mind?

You know you have to take action and do something now or are you going to take the chance of creating success pass you by, again?

Success stands for different things for each individual. Your concept of success may be finishing a doctorate degree; another person will say she achieved success if she loses those excess pounds and achieve her ideal weight, still someone else may declare that his idea of success is paying off his debts and acquiring financial security in these troubled times. One thing, however, is common in all these scenarios – the keys to success begins with you.

You are the only one who holds the key. Your family and friends may help you achieve whatever your aspirations may be. You may use amazing goal setting tools and apply effective goal achieving techniques but it will still go down to you. There are too many questions and by looking deep inside yourself and really contemplate on these issues, you will find the answers.

The first step to success is to reconcile yourself with your issues, compromising and finding balance. When you have found peace of mind and harmony within yourself, you are ready to take on any challenge life may bring.

Another thing you should remember is to never underestimate the power of positive thinking. The sheer power of your thoughts will be your catalyst to achieving success. A healthy dose of optimism never hurt anybody and surely not you and your goals. And don’t forget to maintain your drive, enthusiasm and motivation all throughout.

You should also associate yourself with like-minded, successful people and learn from them. Learning is a continuous process; at first you may seem not to know what you’re doing but slowly by observing successful people and learning form your own mistakes, you will get the hang of it and sooner that you know achieving success will come naturally and with less effort. Learn from the masters of success and you will be one of them sooner that you think.

To achieve success you need to have a fit and healthy body and this means creating success through health and nutrition. Success will be a hard to get hold of if you constantly fall off the success wagon because your body can’t keep up. When you are striving hard for success, stress and pressure are given factors and you have to manage them effectively. You should also provide yourself with the right nutrition to make sure you are fueled to take your game to the next level.

Creating success begins with you – your mind and body. Be an optimist – cultivate positive thinking, and sustain your enthusiasm and motivation. Be healthy – eat right and lead an active lifestyle.

Success Through Your Health

Coach Adams here with a health and nutrition Success Tip

I always get questions like “what should I be eating to help my performance?”

And I usually respond with a similar answer…what are you currently eating?

And I always get a similar response…”oh I eat pretty clean…”

Of course I then have to ask…well what exactly do you eat, when do you eat, and how often do you eat?

It’s only then that they realize that they really don’t eat that well…they skip breakfast, snack on potato chips or candy bars, and they haven’t had a vegetable in weeks! “that’s pretty clean” huh?

Now I’m not going to tell you that you need to cut out all your indulgences and eat only bland bitter tasting vegetables…though it wouldn’t hurt…No I just want you to consider what you do eat and be more mindful of what you put into your body!

You see I love chocolate and chocolate chip cookies as much as anyone else…in fact I would say that I’m a connoisseur of chocolate chip cookies…I love them! Seriously! But I don’t eat them at every meal…although I probably could. :)

It’s about making good choices and being consistent.

And that was reinforced to me when I had the good fortune to hear Dr. Lindsey Duncan speak last night here in Los Angeles. What an amazing man! He is so passionate! I comes through in everything he does.

He talked about the benefits of Cleansing your body, Balancing your body, and then Building your body. And that this system is necessary to live a long and prosperous life!

It’s a system of choices you make…

First off you must cleanse! And I’m not talking about just eating vegetables and thinking you are going to undo 50 years of bad eating. Not at all. Dr. Duncan shared that his mentor once said “you can’t put clean water in a dirty bottle!” He also explained that we are all full of toxins…some of us more than others. But one thing is clear, you need to cleanse!

How you do it is your choice.

You can use Liquid Cleanse which is an easy to take tincture that helps your body’s elimination process. Or you can do a juice fast geared toward cleansing all of your major elimination organs. Or you can do a high fiber and bentonite clay cleanse. There are so many more but these are just a few of the cleanses on the market today.

Personally I think the Liquid Cleanse is one of the best products out there. In fact it is one of my favorite supplements. I recommend it to everyone I speak with…that’s how important I think this product is. Everyone needs to be on it…no questions asked.

There is just so much more to talk about…Dr. Duncan spoke for nearly 3 hours!!! So stay tuned as I will bring you more great tips on how you can improve your success through your health and nutrition.

Remember,
Success is not by chance, It’s by Choice!

Keys To Success

If you have been stuck in the same routine for ten years, then you may want to consider that you have been doing some things the wrong way…If you keep doing what you’ve always done then you will keep getting what you’ve always got…and it’s time that you do something about it.

What? You may ask…well let’s start with creating some clarity as to what’s success!

What is success?

We all have different opinions of what success is. For each person, success is a different concept but the most common ideas of success are those relating to family, work, financial and personal issues.

Achieving success also varies; to some the journey takes only a few years, to others it takes a long time and again the reason for this is the diversity of the concepts of success.

So what does it mean to you? What specifically do you want?

Once you’ve determine what your priorities and your goals are then you are ready to start your journey. But before you do, there are some keys to success that will help you reach your desired outcome sooner.

Keys to Success

1. Positive attitude – When things go wrong, you have to be a hardcore optimist to be able to pull up your bootstraps and continue pursuing your dreams. Too often people give up, too frustrated to go on because they can’t get through a certain obstacle. But if you are someone who sees this opportunity as a challenge to your abilities then success is not an elusive dream. Don’t ever underestimate the power of your positive attitude.

2. Self-control – When setting goals, you have to exercise a certain level of self-control when identifying the difference between your needs and your wants. The self-control to prioritize short- and long-term goals versus those which offer immediate gratification can be overwhelming. Delaying your satisfaction today for a more fulfilling future is a challenge to many. And a necessity for creating consistent success.

3. Giving more of yourself to others – They say it is better to give than to receive. If you are willing to give more of yourself to others, to help people and to share your talents and abilities, these same people will see your value and help you fulfill your own dreams and aspirations.

Another thing you should keep in mind is to associate yourself with successful people and individuals who think the same way you do. Learn from them.

Success can be very complex if you want it to be but with some useful tools like these goal setting strategies and empowering yourself with relevant information such as knowing the keys to success, the journey to success will be easier.
