Success: Making The Best Better

You are at the pinnacle of success – the victorious point in your life where everything you have worked so hard for has finally came to fruition.

A bittersweet triumph – you had to sacrifice some things so that you arrive where you are now and you had to pass up opportunities to stay on track. It was not an easy journey but now that you have achieved success, you know everything was worth it and more.

You may not be the first one at the top, you may even be the last, but that doesn’t matter in the least because you have chosen to pursue success at your own pace, not letting people and circumstances pressure you to do otherwise.

Bonnie Blair, the Olympic speedskater, once said: “Winning doesn’t always mean being first. Winning means you’re doing better than you’ve ever done before.”

And wise words indeed. It means doing better every time and now that you succeeded in achieving your desired goals what are you going to do next?  You can take your game to the next level by reading Tim’s book Making the Best Better. It will show you how you can take your current success and multiply that into consistent growth again and again and again. There are no limits to your ability to succeed.

Now the only question is – are you willing to take on this challenge of making the best better?

From the look of things, the answer is a resounding yes!

You would not have succeeded and arrived where you are now if you were faint-hearted. Achieving and doing even better is something you are very capable of.

Success is as different to each of us as in the uniqueness of our personalities. Don’t be afraid to risk it all again in search for more, for something better; you have done it once, you can surely do it again.

Success: Learning From the Best

Success doesn’t come easy.

It’s not a magic pill and there’s no fast track to success; you have to go through the entire process. Sure enough, the road to success is not simple and more often than not, it will be a bumpy ride.

If you really want to succeed and achieve your goals, you need to put your life in perspective, evaluate your priorities, set your goals accordingly, and get down to business of achieving them.

But what if you have the chance of learning what success is all about from someone who epitomizes success? Don’t the best athletes and teams have a coaching staff that keeps them on the right track? Didn’t Aristotle study under Plato before becoming the great philosopher that we know him today?

Having a personal success coach is something like that. To be the best and to achieve success, you must learn from the best and from someone who has been there and done that. Emulating the attitudes for success, learning the techniques these successful people use, and listening to what they have to say about success and how to achieve it are the secrets to success. If you want to read more about learning from the Masters then head on over to Creating Success.

Sure, on your own, you can achieve success, no question about that. But the valuable wisdom you gain from people who are successful can help reduce the possibility of failure especially when you learn about the mistakes they have made and how they dealt with these setbacks. You can avoid making the same mistakes, the same wrong turns in the road to success. You will be ready because you are well-prepared for these possibilities and you know how to deal with them.

We actually do this everyday. Remember, the fruitcake your Aunt brought last Christmas?
Scrumptious, wasn’t it? Your Aunt wasn’t in the least modest when she said the fruit cake was a culinary success and you will heartily agree to that (after eating more than enough helpings, you most likely will). The recipe was a long-standing family tradition which becomes better with each generation as we learned that 1/3 cup of dark rum is better than ½ cup of bourbon. We learn from the cooking disasters of the past.

That’s how success is. You learn from the best, you emulate their habits and attitudes, you learn about their mistakes and how to cope with them, and you are now ready to embark on your own journey to success.

Success doesn’t come easy but when you have learned from the best, you can also be the best and be a success!

Success, Modeling, and Business Athlete Mentorship

Coach Adams from www.makingbestbetter.com here with my final thoughts on Russia and Coach Barakov…

I love St. Petersburg. What an amazing city. Full of life, character, culture, amazing people and many Masters!

As I’m leaving St. Petersburg I can only smile and reflect on the amazing journey I’ve had here. To be in the midst of so many Masters is stimulating and yet can be overwhelming if you let it.

However, I love being in the midst of masters because I know that my personal success has come from learning from the very best!

You see, I believe that if you are going to learn something you MUST learn from the very best. If you are going to take the time to acquire a new skill then you must learn the proper way of doing it first before you begin to reinforce an improper motor pattern or neural pathway.

It takes so much longer to relearn something than it does to learn it correctly from scratch.

That’s why when I’m looking to learn something new I seek out the very best results producing coaches, scientists, researchers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and practitioners in the world and I go and learn from them. Why would I waste my time trying to reinvent the wheel when I can go straight to the source and drink from the fountain?

By learning from the best I guarantee you will take years off your journey to success!

To find out how I did it and learn how you can too then go to www.makingbestbetter.com.

Remember…Success is not by Chance it’s by Choice!
